Why would you want that? Then you won't see witch apps are running.

The resources are in the package, just edit them and drag and drop in candybar, or if you don't have that make a backup of the dock.app located in:
/System/Library/CoreServices
then right click on the original dock.app and choose: "Show package contents" then go to: Contents/Resources and edit the following:
indicator_large
indicator_medium
indicator_small (
Make sure you have the right to edit them, if not do this:[link])
